Another Successful UV Event in the Books!
On Thursday April 18th, we had our first Paint Party event in the clubhouse and twenty-five lucky residents were able to attend! We invited Melissa from Get Your Paint On to lead our residents in creating a their very own masterpiece. Our residents were able to channel their inner Picasso and unwind from the busy semester! The night was filled paint, laughs and good vibes all around.
We love having events for our residents, so if there is an event you'd like us to have let us know!
On Thursday, March 14th, University Village hosted our very first Courtyard & Chill Event! Our favorite, DJ Sully set the tone for the evening and the we welcomed an amazing local band, Soulixer, to perform for our residents under courtyard string lights.
Our residents were able to chill on their balconies, relax in the courtyard, and have good vibes all around throughout the night. We had The Shaved Iced Bar join the fun & we also provided Jimmy John's, Domino's Pizza, popcorn, and cotton candy. Residents had a blast playing lawn games such as ping pong, corn hole, giant Jenga & giant Connect 4!
We love putting on fresh new events for our residents and cannot wait for the next one!
March represents many different things for people. Two of the biggest things celebrated during March are the start of Spring and St. Patrick’s Day- what’s not to love about either one of those?! Below you will find some fun facts and information on both that will help you prepare for the celebrations.
Spring Time Greatness

These can include: Camping, Fishing, Flying a Kite, Playing Mini Golf & Starting your garden! More fun activities can be found at http://www.realsimple.com/work-life/entertainment/spring-activities
All Things Green
St. Patrick’s Day, commonly referred to as St. Paddy’s Day, is on March 17th
Corned Beef & Cabbage is a traditional St. Patrick’s Day dish that originated in New York and not Ireland. Find some great Irish recipes at http://www.history.com/topics/st-patricks-day/irish-recipes-st-patricks-day
The popularity of Shamrocks and Four Leaf Clovers stems from St. Patrick using these plants to explain the holy trinity to the Irish.
St. Patrick’s Day cannot be complete unless you are wearing green and everything around you is green! When celebrating, some show their Irish pride more than others. Take a look here http://www.hostelworld.com/blog/celebrating-st-patricks-day-around-the-w...
